Software Application Support Specialist

Exact Logix, Inc. is looking for a Technical Support Specialist to be part of a growing team supporting cutting-edge, web based (SaaS) construction management software. The position will be the initial point of contact for ALL incoming technical issues. After a thorough training period, this position will field phone calls and emails from system users that are experiencing problems with, but not limited to: data entry, system flow and general usage. This position will also investigate, resolve and document issues in the application forum.

Essential Duties:

Day to day activities will include, but are not limited to: Bug documentation/tracking, initial company setup, password management, system rules & procedures, trouble shooting, document printing and data exports to QuickBooks. Compensation is competitive, and includes health care and a retirement account.

Required Skills:

  • Some construction knowledge is a plus, but not necessary if the applicant is a quick study.
  • Superior phone/customer service skills and experience.
  • Time management skills.
  • Must work well in a team environment, but also be self-sufficient.
  • Familiar with MS Windows XP & Vista operating systems and some Mac OSX ability.
  • Proficient in a wide array of Internet browsers. (IE 7 & 8, Mozilla Firefox, Safari and Google Chrome)
  • Ability to use Google applications (Maps, Calendar, Gmail), and their respective functionalities.
  • Proficient internet use and navigation.
  • Ability to multi-task: answer phone calls, navigate the internet and field instant messages simultaneously.
  • General phone system knowledge.
  • General QuickBooks knowledge.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with a broad spectrum of customer technical skill sets.

Flex Developer

Exact Logix, Inc. is looking for an Adobe Flex application expert to be part of a growing team of developers building cutting-edge construction management software.

Essential Duties:

Design and implement scalable, high performance, and high quality enterprise level application in SaaS environment. Work with platform teams and other application teams closely on UI designs, and application development.

Required Skills:

  • 5+ years of software development in enterprise application with emphasis in UI application development.
  • 2+ years in Adobe Flex development.
  • Excellent object oriented design knowledge.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Good communicator, team player and committed individual contributor.
  • Good Java skills.
